Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms apply to Sir, Post, an online service for building, testing, documenting and sharing APIs ("the Service"), provided by Aurum Tech Services ("AurumTS", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
1. Your account
- Give a real name and an email address you control, and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
2. Pricing, plans and changes
- The Service is currently free, with the fair-use limits shown on our pricing page.
- Pricing and plans may change at any time. This includes introducing paid plans (for example for team workspaces or larger teams), changing prices, changing which features each plan includes, and changing limits.
- We post changes on the pricing page. Before you are charged for anything, we tell you by email or in the app, and you decide whether to continue on a paid plan.
- Whatever plan you are on, Your Content stays yours and you can export it at any time.
3. Your content
- Collections, requests, environments, docs and other material you put in the Service ("Your Content") stay yours.
- You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you and the people you share it with, including on public docs pages that you choose to publish.
- You are responsible for having the right to use the APIs, credentials and data you put in the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- send requests to systems you are not allowed to test, or attack, scan or overload any system;
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or send spam or malware;
- get around limits, security or access controls, or access other users' data;
- resell the Service or copy it to build a competing product.
Requests you send through the Service leave from our servers. We may block destinations or accounts that put the Service or others at risk.
5. Sharing and public docs
When you publish docs or invite people, the content you share becomes visible to them. Public docs hide authorization secrets and credential-looking headers, but you are responsible for not putting secrets in plain text in shared requests or docs.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or stop features. For a major change that removes a feature you depend on, we will try to give notice.
7. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero on the free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
