What's new in Sir, Post.

Every release, newest first.

  1. v1.0.0Latest

    Sir, Post 1.0: public launch

    • Sir, Post is open to everyone at app.sirpost.co.in.
    • The Windows and Android apps are out of preview and available on the download page.
    • The desktop app updates itself: when a new version is out, click Update and restart.
    • The Android app tells you when a new version is ready to download.
  2. v0.13.0

Desktop app, local agent and Android preview

    • Windows desktop app: requests go from your own computer, so localhost and your office network work.
    • The desktop app also runs a local agent, so Sir, Post in the browser can reach localhost and private addresses through it.
    • Requests sent from your computer are saved in History like any other, with secrets masked.
    • Android app preview build.
  3. v0.12.0

    Scripts, runner and mock server

    • Pre-request and post-response scripts in JavaScript, on requests and collections, with pm.test, pm.expect and a Tests tab.
    • pm.environment.set saves your own current value, so one request can feed the next.
    • Collection Runner: run a collection or folder in order, many times, with data from a CSV or JSON file.
    • Import OpenAPI 3 and Swagger 2.0 files, in JSON or YAML.
    • Mock server: a URL that answers with your saved examples.
    • Update a fork from its original after reviewing what changed.
    • Postman scripts now come across on import and export.
  4. v0.11.0

    Website and signature templates

    • The Sir, Post website: features, pricing, help guides, changelog and contact.
    • Signature Builder templates for PhonePe X-VERIFY, body HMAC (Razorpay-style webhooks) and timestamp signatures.
    • Join the waitlist for the desktop and mobile apps.
  5. v0.10.0

    Hardening

    • Security headers on every API response.
    • Fixed a rare case where a request could lose its server settings under heavy load.
    • Every screen re-tested end to end in the browser.
  6. v0.9.0

    Import, export and fork

    • Import Postman collections (v2.0 and v2.1), Postman environments and globals, and cURL commands.
    • Export any collection as Postman v2.1.
    • Full workspace backup and restore.
    • Fork a collection into your own workspace, from your team or from a public docs link. Secrets never travel with a fork.
    • Public docs pages update live when the collection changes.
  7. v0.8.0

    API docs

    • Markdown docs for every collection, folder and request.
    • Save responses as examples.
    • Code samples in cURL, JavaScript, Python and PHP.
    • Publish a read-only public docs link. Credentials are hidden on the public page.
  8. v0.7.0

    Live collaboration

    • Saves, renames, environment and role changes appear for everyone at once.
    • See who is online in the workspace.
    • A "newer version" banner instead of silently overwriting a teammate.
  9. v0.6.0

    Environments and auth

    • Environments and Globals with {{variables}}, plus a private current value for each person.
    • Secret values are encrypted and hidden from viewers, who can still send requests with them.
    • 12 auth types: Bearer, Basic, API key, Digest, NTLM, OAuth 1.0, OAuth 2.0, AWS Signature v4, JWT and the Signature Builder, plus collection-level auth.
  10. v0.5.0

    Send requests

    • Send requests through Sir, Post and see the response as pretty JSON, raw text, preview, headers and cookies.
    • History and a console for every send.
    • Quick "not saved" tabs for one-off requests.
  11. v0.4.0

    Collections

    • Collections, folders and requests with params, headers, body (JSON, form-data, urlencoded, binary, GraphQL) and docs.
    • Safe saving: if two people change the same request, nobody loses work.
  12. v0.3.0

    Workspaces and teams

    • Personal and team workspaces.
    • Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer roles.
    • Invite teammates by email.
  13. v0.2.0

    Accounts

    • Sign up with email verification and a privacy-friendly human check.
    • Password reset by email.
